Broncos Bring the Heat
Hello Bronco families and fans,
We are in league season now with our first Palomar League meet against San Marcos last week. San Marcos is one of the strongest teams in our league and we held our own against the competition. The Varsity girls put up an impressive score of 80 to their 56, while the boys narrowly missed the win by just two points 67 to 69. We took the win on both sides for JV with the girls finishing 105 to 12 and the JV boys 80 to 56. Find the full meet results for our San Marcos Dual here. Then on Saturday we headed to Mt Carmel for the Sundevil Invite. This is our most elite invite in San Diego and we had the chance to line up against some of the best competition in Southern California. Find the full meet results here. You can see photos from these meets and the rest of our season on our new Photo Gallery page on the website and keep reading for more highlights!

We have another home dual meet this Thursday 4/2 against Poway. If you are available, please sign up here to volunteer!
On Wednesday April 1st at the beginning of practice, we will be launching our Vertical Raise Fundraiser! Athletes are asked to bring 20 emails and 10 phone numbers of adults in their lives (NOT PARENTS/GUARDIANS or RB COACHES/TEACHERS) that might be open and able to help us reach our goals! Vertical Raise's streamlined online platform allows us to raise funds digitally through email, text & social media. Through these mediums, supporters can visit our fundraiser page and help support our cause. Click here for the Parent/Family Letter with more information!

Athletes of the Meet
Each week, we will highlight Athletes of the Meet for the prior weeks meet(s). These athletes are selected by their respective event coaches for their performance at the meet. Athletes who had break out performances, big PRs, pulled off something big for the team score, great sportsmanship, etc. We want to take the time to highlight a couple of athletes who had spectacular performances at our dual meet against Otay Ranch and The Falcon Relays Invitational.

Our Next Meet
This week we have a home dual meet against Poway. The top 3 athletes in each event score points (1st - 5 points, 2nd-3 points, 3rd-1 point). It is crucial that athletes are giving their best effort in all events they are competing in and communicating with their coach if anything comes up. More info on this week’s dual meet here.
We do not have an invitational meet this Saturday. Athletes have the weekend off unless their event coach opts to have an optional Saturday practice.

Donate your used spikes to a Bronco in need!
If your athlete has spikes (competition shoes) from a past season that are in decent condition, they can use them again. If they are getting new spikes and don’t need their old ones, feel free to bring them to practice and we can share them with another Bronco in need! Once your athlete gets their spikes, have them show their coach before wearing them at practice. We can help navigate each athletes needs.
