Our program is not possible without YOUR support.
The parents, friends, families and fans are the heartbeat of Rancho Bernardo Track & Field. Our coaches give their all to support these young, student-athletes in having the best possible experience during their time in our program and you all take that to the next level!

DONATE!
While it is absolutely not required to participate on our team, we have a $300 per athlete suggested donation. Again this is completely voluntary, not required and only for those families in a position to do so. Any amount helps off set the costs of running an elite program with nearly 200 athletes and 10+ Coaches. We do not get any funds from the district to run our program and are 100% self funded.
Any families in a position to donate please do so by check ideally, cash or Paypal (which does incur a processing fee).
See more info on our donation page!
VOLUNTEER!
Whether you are in a position to donate monetarily or not, donating your TIME is invaluable to our program’s ability to be successful. It takes a ton of man (and Woman) power to keep a program of our size moving smoothly. The more of that covered by volunteers the more time our coaching staff can spend actually coaching your wonderful kids!
We need adult volunteers across a variety of places. From running the snack bar, checking kids in at races, moving hurdles, meet set up, senior night, the team banquet, etc. There are jobs as big or as small as you have the capacity and interest for!
Our biggest need will be at the invitational meet we host on Saturday March 14th, The Don Jones Bronco Invite! The more parents, aunts, uncles, adults, etc support we have the better our meet can run. This is our program’s biggest fundraiser!
Volunteering is a great way to stay connected to your kid’s sport and the bonus of often getting on-field access to watch the meet, right in the action!
We are specifically seeking a couple of dedicated parents to lead the charge in the snack bar our senior night and banquet festivities. Ideally Sophomore or Junior parents (but not limited). If you are interested even slightly, please reach out to Coach Mandell at CoachRubyMandell@gmail.com
Check out our volunteer page (coming soon!) for other specific opportunities. THANK YOU!
SHOW UP!
Track and Field is unlike any other sport. It is confusing at times to understand especially if it is new to your family or you have never participated yourself, but the more you get involved and show up the more enjoyable the experience is for the whole family.
We LOVE seeing family and friends at meets and that support is invaluable to the success of our program and our student-athletes. We encourage you to show up and make friends with other parents on the team. Carpool, sit together, get to know one another. Meets are long and much more enjoyable with friends!
At Saturday invites we sit as a team under our team tent. We encourage families to sit below the tent so we can all cheer athletes on together.
We have a HUGE team and as coaches, we have so many athletes to keep track of. We encourage you to introduce yourselves to your student - athlete’s event coaches. Or even better have your kids introduce you all to us! We spend SO much quality time with your kids and have the pleasure of getting to know them so well, but often do not get to meet the families that shaped them into these wonderful young people!
Our goal is to support our athletes in becoming the best young adults they can be. Coaches and parents working together as a united front make that goal SO much easier to achieve! We look forward to getting to know you all this season :)
