Our Next Meet
This week we have our final dual meet of the year AWAY at Del Norte on Thursday April 30th. The top 3 athletes in each event score points (1st - 5 points, 2nd-3 points, 3rd-1 point). It is crucial that athletes are giving their best effort in all events they are competing in and communicating with their coach if anything comes up. More info on this week’s dual meet here.
This will be the final meet of our regular season and the end of the season for most of our JV athletes. Approximately the top 18-27 athletes in each event (not always, it remains a very competitive event) in the Palomar League (which consists of Rancho Bernardo, Mt Carmel, Westview, Del Norte, San Marcos and Poway) will move on to compete in League Finals at Mt Carmel High School on Friday May 8th. From there, athletes will need to qualify based on performance to the next meet, D1 (Division 1) Finals. We will know the final athletes who qualified for league finals on Monday May 4th. More info to come, ask your event coach with questions.
This weekend we do not have a meet, some event groups may have a Saturday practice, each event coach will communicate that accordingly.

Donate your used spikes to a Bronco in need!
If your athlete has spikes (competition shoes) from a past season that are in decent condition, they can use them again. If they are getting new spikes and don’t need their old ones, feel free to bring them to practice and we can share them with another Bronco in need! Once your athlete gets their spikes, have them show their coach before wearing them at practice. We can help navigate each athletes needs.
